From the Assistant Editor:

Summer is in full swing! I hope you are finding time to work on your favorite projects in between skipping rocks and plunging into swimming holes.

This issue features Ashley Comer, Elli Chung, Daniel Seth Kraus, and Max Slobodda; four talented photographers who submitted work for our consideration. We are continually grateful for your interest, and love reviewing new portfolios, so please keep the work flowing in! I found each portfolio to be insightful, and I noticed a commonality in how the photographers present her or his photographic observations while leaving room for contemplation and reflection. Leo Hsu joins the issue with another one of his shrewd reviews; this time looking at Brighter Later by Brian David Stevens.
