About us:

Stella Kramer is a multi-award, Pulitzer Prize winning photo editor who has worked for such major publications as The New York Times, Brill’s Content, People, Entertainment Weekly, Newsweek and Sports Illustrated.
She works as a visual consultant with photographers, helping them to strengthen their creative vision, edit their portfolios and websites, and set marketing plans for their careers. She also lectures and appears at photo festivals around the country as a portfolio reviewer. Stella writes the blogs Stellazine and for ASMP, Sharpen. She lectures and teaches classes in and around New York.
Stella was part of the New York Times team winning the 2002 Pulitzer Prize for Breaking News Photography, and served as the photo editor the New York Times “Portraits of Grief,” memorializing those who lost their lives in the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks, which won the 2002 Pulitzer Prize for Public Service, and a 2002 Infinity Award from the International Center of Photography.

Jason Houston has worked for the last 8 years as picture editor for Orion magazine, a non-profit, non-commercial publication that features picture essays and portfolios addressing the complex relationships between nature, culture, and place. As an editor he works regularly with both established and up and coming artists and photographers to help THEM develop THEIR long-term, personal projects into issue-driven magazine features. In addition to his work as a picture editor, Jason has worked for the last 20 years as an independent documentary photographer for editorial and NGO clients, traveling to a dozen different countries and across the United States on projects addressing social and environmental issues. His images have been used 1000's of times in 100's of stories in print, online, and broadcast media around the world, and have been exhibited in galleries and public venues across the United States.
Jason has served as a portfolio reviewer for many organizations, including Fotofest, Center, Photolucida, PhotoAlliance, ICP, and PhotoNOLA; is on the advisory board for Blue Earth Alliance; and has curated, juried, presented, and taught workshops for festivals, events, and arts organizations across the country.

David Bram is a fine art photographer and the editor, founder, and curator of Fraction Magazine, which was founded in 2008 and is currently on its eighteenth issue (September 2010) and has shown portfolios from more than 100 photographers. 

David has been reviewing portfolios at various events including Review LA, Review Santa Fe, PhotoNOLA, Atlanta Celebrates Photography and Fotofest.   He was also a juror for Review Santa Fe in 2010 as well as a juror for Critical Mass in 2009 and 2010. For his outstanding work, David was selected as the 2010 recipient of the Griffin Museum's Rising Star Award.
